I will admit that this dream or vision left me a bit angry and forced me once more to ask myself; what was I prepared to do to live free and with the liberty to do so? Was I willing to sacrifice all, or kneel down in capitulation to the tyrants that have infested my government? These were my first conscious thoughts on this quiet and beautiful Sunday morning.
To be honest with you, I will say that I dream just about every night. Most of the time the dreams I have are not much to think about. I have had a few dreams in my lifetime that some would call premonitions or visions. Being of mixed heritage, my Choctaw cousins would say my “shilombish," or spirit, had left my body and entered the place of my dream, returning to me before I awoke. Whatever I experienced last night, it was certainly one I will never forget.
My dream painted a vivid and clear image of a government officer and his assistant visiting my home unannounced, attempting to warn me that I would suffer unknown consequences including arrest if I continued to lead my liberty group and organize meetings. It took them a long time to unveil this possible threat to my liberties, as they talked in doublespeak leaving me to try and translate their misleading ambiguity. Finally I confronted them and bluntly asked what exactly they were here to see me about. These government reps told me to be careful and to cease my assembling of the people. No more liberty gatherings.
I responded as the fight or flight adrenaline kicked in. I raised my voice, kicked them out of my home and told them they and the government would never be able to silence me or keep me from exercising my unalienable rights to speak freely and fellowship with others. Never. That’s when I awoke. Startled and feeling like I had just won a spirited fight with a mountain lion. Then I thought about this dream or nightmare and asked those questions of myself, that I already knew the answers to.
The answers are part of me or my makeup. It’s in my DNA to fight for what is right and to do so at all cost. Like so many of my ancestors before me, I will fight for liberty and freedom and to keep liberty’s torch shining bright. What are you prepared to do?
